Seat planner, tiers and pricing
Draw a hall's seat layout, generate seats in bulk, group them into priced tiers, override individual seats, and understand what customers see on the map.
The visual seat planner
Each hall has a seat map you draw in the admin. Lay out rows and seats to match the room, leaving gaps for aisles. The map you draw is the map customers see.
Bulk seat generation
For a regular layout, generate seats in bulk: give the planner the rows and seats per row and it creates them, labelled A1, A2, B1 and so on. Then adjust by hand where the room is irregular, removing seats for pillars or adding a short row at the back.
Tiers
A tier is a group of seats with a shared colour and price, for example:

Assign seats to tiers in the planner. On the customer map, tiers are colour-coded and a legend shows which colour is which. The lowest tier price is what the event list shows as the from price.
Per-seat price overrides
Any individual seat can have its own price regardless of tier. Use this for a restricted-view seat in the VIP block, or a single premium seat in an otherwise standard row.
What customers see on the map
- Available seats in their tier colour.
- Taken seats greyed out and not selectable.
- Selected seats highlighted, with a booking summary that lists the seat labels, the event, date and time, and the running total.
- A maximum number of seats per booking, shown under the map.
Customers tap or click seats to add them, then continue to enter their details. The reservation is confirmed only if every selected seat is still free at that moment.
Changing a layout after selling seats
Seats that already have reservations for a future event cannot be removed. Add seats, change tiers or adjust prices freely; existing reservations keep the price they were booked at.
